Is Justmarkets a trustworthy broker? The short answer is YES. Used to be known as “JustForex”, Justmarkets is a legitimate broker regulated by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles, as illustrated in the screenshot below:

As stated by the company and its regulator, Justmarkets is based in Providence, Mahe, Seychelles. This online trading platform changed its name from “Justforex” to “Justmarkets” to better reflect its wide range of trading opportunities and not just forex.

Notably, many users have praised the offshore broker on Trustpilot, awarding it 5 stars, largely for its satisfactory withdrawal processing and exceptional customer service.

Additionally, we searched for information about this offshore broker on Reddit and found no signs of it being a scam. The posts we came across generally discussed the typical aspects you’d expect from a reputable broker.

However, it’s worth stating that Justmarkets has its fair share of drawbacks, and a truly unbiased reviewer of this offshore broker wouldn’t ignore them. To that effect, I’ll highlight some of these issues:

1. JustMarkets Occasionally Experiences Platform Stability Issues

JustMarkets occasionally experiences stability issues, such as crashes or connectivity problems, especially during high market volatility. These disruptions can lead to interrupted trades and significant losses for traders.

For example, a recent Trustpilot user reported having a $13,000 balance in their JustMarkets account when the platform suddenly became unresponsive during an active trade.Their entire balance had disappeared by the time the system was back online. Although they provided screenshots and a screen recording as requested by customer support, the company concluded that the evidence was insufficient and declined to offer reimbursement.

This situation is similar to that of another online trading platform, Vault Markets. The evidence presented in the review post shows beyond reasonable doubt that Vault Markets is unreliable, with frequent crashes that can lead to losses for traders. You can read it to see how this broker has been accused of manipulating trades by orchestrating frequent crashes and other ill moves.

2. Your Crypto Deposits Could Easily Get Lost On Justmarkets

The same trader described another situation where they made a cryptocurrency deposit and subsequently lost the funds. Upon inquiring, the company explained that a new wallet address is typically generated for each payment and that there was nothing they could do about the lost funds. Rather than taking action, the company merely responded with a warning not to make the same mistake again.

JustMarkets Welcome Bonus and Deposit/Withdrawal Structure

It goes without stating that this offshore broker offers some cool deposit bonuses and promotions. One example is the Deposit or Welcome bonus, which gives you up to 50% of every deposit as a welcome gesture. You can get these bonuses by claiming them via email. Your message should include your account number, deposit method, and amount.  The email address for sending a bonus claim is verification@justmarkets.com.

You can withdraw any profits you’ve made from a bonus without restrictions. As for withdrawing your initial deposit, you can do so, if you wish to, by canceling the bonus.

I also learned from customer support that you can put and withdraw money from your account through various methods:

  • Credit/debit cards.
  • Electronic payment systems.
  • Electronic payment agents.

N/B: Some withdrawal methods may require verification.

The minimum deposit or withdrawal varies by payment method:

  • Visa and MasterCard  —  $30.
  • E-wallets  —  $10.
  • Crypto Payments  —  $30.
  • Local Banks and Mobile Money Methods  —  $10.

Charges on JustMarkets

On this trading platform, commissions apply only to the Raw Spread account. The fee is $3 per side per lot, so you’ll pay $6 per lot when you open a position. There are no additional charges when you close the position. For other account types, there are no commission fees.

Is JustMarkets Bonus Real or a Scam?

To summarize, it’s legitimate. After all, the entity has been approved by several financial services regulators, including the FSA of Seychelles. Additionally, the broker is licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius. Furthermore, they are also authorized by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission under the trading name “JustMarkets Ltd” and the  domain name “justmarkets.eu.” Being regulated by multiple regulatory bodies often provides a stronger signal that a broker is trustworthy.

Final Thoughts

JustMarkets is a legitimate online trading platform with a generally positive reputation. Duly licensed, the broker actually processes withdrawals and pays out, and therefore, we recommend it. However, as with any investment, it’s imperative that you do your research and ensure that this online trading platform aligns with your investment goals. It’s advisable to start small and withdraw your profits as soon as they’re available. Once you gain more confidence with the platform, you can gradually increase your investment.
